This points to the principle that a natural need is an objective fact. This works as another term for an inflexible need or natural need. Contrasts with a chosen response to such a need.

(n.) Any required necessity to address something essential to function that automatically exists ahead in importance of another essential matter for functioning, independent of any volition. E.g., requiring solitude now instead of social interactions or requiring sleep now instead of physical activity. This points to the principle that an organically prioritized need is an objective fact.
